CALA (Contemporary Association of Los Angeles) is a group of San Francisco, Los Angeles, New York and European contemporary fashion representatives, formed to offer a more contemporary alternative to other shows in San Francisco and throughout the United States.

CALA has grown to over a hundred showrooms featuring hundreds of contemporary women's and men's apparel and accessory resources.

CALA San Francisco takes place five times a year on the entire 9th and 10th floor of the historic Westin St. Francis in the heart of Union Square, the retail Mecca of Northern California.

FAQs

1. How do I arrange for equipment,lights, racks, etc.?
Please specify any equipment needs on your application form. Rental of equipment is provided by Apparel Market Transport and billed by Apparel Market Transport. In order to assure that your equipment will be provided as requested please make sure that all bills are up to date with AMT.

2. Can I ship my samples directly to the hotel?
No, the hotel requests that all merchandise/samples be handled through Apparel Market Transport.

3. Who do I go to when I have a problem?
Please contact Gerry at 213-305-6887 to resolve the issue.

4.Can I share a room?
Yes, but each representative is responsible for the CALA registration fee.

5. How can I guarantee I will be accepted to the show?
The CALA committee will review your application and notify you as soon as possible. Space is limited to contemporary clothing lines.
